Hospital staff make minute-to-minute decisions from information scattered across systems: patient status here, appointments there, alerts nowhere until too late. This project builds a dashboard frontend that unifies that picture for clinical teams across an entire facility. The intern engineers the dashboard with an advanced React component architecture in TypeScript, using Redux Toolkit to manage the layered state of patients, schedules, and live alerts, and integrating REST APIs for continuously updating data. Patient information and appointment schedules render through clear visualizations, real-time alerts surface deteriorating situations immediately, and dynamic forms capture clinical updates at the point of care. Clinics lose revenue and patients lose care time to scheduling chaos: double-booked doctors, forgotten appointments, and records scattered across systems. This project builds an appointment platform that manages the full clinical scheduling lifecycle with the reliability healthcare demands. The intern builds an Express and Node.js backend exposing RESTful APIs, with PostgreSQL holding relational scheduling and account data and MongoDB storing flexible document data, a hybrid persistence design common in production systems. JWT authentication and role-based authorization give patients, doctors, and administrators distinct capabilities; patients book and track appointments and upload medical records securely via Multer, doctors manage schedules, and admins oversee the platform through a dashboard with analytics and user management. Decision Tree Survival Modeling App With Interactive Pruning Controls

Decision trees are the most explainable models in machine learning, which makes them ideal for teaching — but only if learners can actually see the tree and watch it change. This project builds a web application around that idea using the classic Titanic passenger dataset, where every split has an interpretable story. The intern develops a Flask backend that trains a decision tree classifier with scikit-learn to predict passenger survival, served through a frontend built with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Users view a rendered visualization of the fitted tree, adjust pruning parameters such as maximum depth and minimum samples per split, and watch the tree restructure and its predictions change in real time — a direct demonstration of the overfitting-versus-generalization trade-off. Jupyter notebooks accompany the app to document data preparation and experimentation, and per-passenger predictions let users test scenarios interactively.
