Live Market Analytics Workspace for Finance Professionals
Finance professionals work in fast-moving data, and a dashboard that lags, hides context, or mishandles an update can cost real money. This project builds a frontend analytics workspace that meets that bar, treating performance and clarity as product requirements rather than polish. The intern develops the portal in React and TypeScript, integrating external APIs for live financial data and rendering it through dynamic visualizations that update in real time without jank. Advanced filtering lets analysts slice markets, instruments, and time ranges instantly; Redux Toolkit keeps the many moving pieces of state coherent as data streams in; and complex forms handle configuration and query building with validation throughout. Authentication flows protect the workspace, and Tailwind CSS over semantic HTML yields a modular, responsive interface that works as well on a laptop as a trading-floor monitor. The intern learns the hard parts of data-dense frontend engineering: efficient re-rendering under continuous updates, state architecture that scales with feature count, and visualization choices that make numbers legible under pressure. The result demonstrates they can build interfaces for professional, high-stakes analytical work.
