Mobile-First Appointment Booking Experience for Healthcare Clinics
For many patients the first obstacle to care is the booking process itself, including phone queues, unclear availability, and forms that break on a phone screen. This project builds a healthcare appointment booking experience designed mobile-first, so scheduling a visit takes minutes from any device. The intern implements the platform with React and TypeScript, building accessible booking forms with validation, appointment selection flows, and confirmation states that leave no ambiguity about what was booked. Dynamic routing moves users cleanly between browsing providers, booking, and managing their appointments, while Redux Toolkit keeps appointment and session state consistent across the flow. Modern HTML features and media support enrich provider and clinic pages, and Tailwind CSS drives the responsive layout so the same interface works equally well on phones, tablets, and desktops. The project grounds the intern in the fundamentals every product team needs, including forms done properly, routing that mirrors user intent, and state management that survives navigation. Completing it yields a clean, realistic healthcare product demonstrating disciplined, user-centered frontend engineering.
