Retail Inventory and Sales Analytics Interface
Retailers make daily calls on stock, pricing, and promotion, but their data usually sits in systems that answer questions slowly or not at all. This project builds the analytics interface that puts those answers on one screen, close enough to the work to change decisions the same day. The intern develops the dashboard in React and TypeScript, with Redux Toolkit coordinating filters, views, and session state, and Tailwind CSS delivering a responsive layout that works from a back-office monitor to a tablet on the shop floor. Advanced data visualizations chart sales performance, inventory levels, and movement trends; an inventory management view lets staff track and adjust stock; and user authentication keeps commercial data restricted to authorized staff. Careful component architecture keeps charts fast even as datasets grow. The project develops the frontend skills analytics products depend on, including choosing visual forms that make operational data legible, structuring state so that filtering stays instant, and building multi-device layouts with solid HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals underneath. The finished dashboard demonstrates the intern can turn raw retail data into an interface managers genuinely use.
