Influencer Marketing Strategy & Outreach Kit

Added Jul 2026 3 design docs

Influencer marketing in India has moved far beyond film stars endorsing soap. A nano-creator in Indore with 8,000 loyal followers can sell out a small brand's stock in a weekend, often for the price of a free product. Yet most small brands approach creators with copy-pasted DMs, no shortlist logic, and no idea what a fair barter or rate looks like, so their messages get ignored and their budgets get wasted on the wrong profiles.

The intern builds a complete influencer marketing strategy and outreach kit for Paperwhale, a fictional Jaipur stationery brand selling journals and desk accessories online. The work involves researching and scoring 40 real-world-style creator profiles into a structured database in google-sheets, designing a tiering and selection framework, writing a full outreach message library in google-docs covering first contact, follow-up, negotiation, and rejection, and producing a collaboration brief deck in canva that tells a selected creator exactly what to post, when, and how success will be judged, with instagram as the primary research ground.

The project trains the intern in the unglamorous skills that make influencer campaigns actually work: structured prospecting, evaluation criteria, professional written outreach, and campaign briefing. These are directly billable skills at agencies and D2C brands, and the finished kit gives the intern a concrete artefact to walk recruiters through, line by line, in an interview.

YouTube Channel Launch Strategy

Every year thousands of Indian channels launch with a logo, a webcam, and no plan, then quietly stop at video seven. The problem is rarely talent. It is that nobody decided who the channel is for, what a typical video looks like, which topics people actually search for, or how success would be judged before the first upload. Meanwhile the channels that grow look boringly systematic from the inside: a fixed niche, a title formula, a thumbnail system, and an upload rhythm they can survive. The intern writes that system for Sikka Sense, a fictional Hindi-English money-basics channel about to be launched in Delhi for people in their first job. The work analyses ten comparable channels on public data, sets a positioning statement and audience definition, builds a brand kit in canva with a banner and eight thumbnails, plans 24 videos across a 90-day roadmap in google-sheets with titles and search keywords attached, writes three full scripts in google-docs shaped around retention, sets up a production tracker in notion, and closes with a milestone plan to the 1,000 subscriber and 4,000 watch hour threshold plus a weekly metrics workbook with decision rules. Completing the project gives the intern the content-strategy skill set that brands and creator studios hire for: keyword-led topic selection, packaging discipline through titles and thumbnails, scripting for attention, and reading channel analytics well enough to change plans rather than panic. The finished dossier proves they can launch a channel on purpose, which is the same argument a content marketing manager makes about a company blog or a brand's video calendar.

30-Day Instagram Growth Campaign for a Local Brand

Walk through any market in Delhi, Pune, or Kochi and you will find hundreds of small brands, home bakeries, thrift stores, tuition centres, that live or die by their Instagram page. Most of them post whenever they remember, use the same tired hashtags, and have no idea why one Reel got 12,000 views while the next got 200. A structured, month-long growth plan built on real observation of what works in their niche is exactly the kind of help these businesses need and almost never get. The intern designs a complete 30-day Instagram growth campaign for Amber Oven, a fictional home bakery in Lajpat Nagar. The work starts with a public audit of eight comparable food accounts, then moves into a day-by-day content calendar built in google-sheets, twelve finished post creatives designed in canva, a tiered hashtag and caption system, and a measurement workbook that tracks followers, reach, saves, and DM enquiries week by week. Everything is bound together in a campaign playbook the owner could pick up and run without hiring an agency. Completing the project teaches the intern how professional social media managers actually operate: benchmarking before planning, planning before posting, and measuring before changing course. The finished repository, with its calendar, creatives, and tracking system, doubles as a portfolio piece that answers the interview question every marketing fresher faces, which is not whether you use Instagram, but whether you can grow an account on purpose.

Email Marketing Funnel Design

Thousands of small Indian businesses, coaching institutes, course sellers, boutique studios, are sitting on email lists they spent years building and use roughly once a month for a discount blast. The list opens at eleven percent, almost nobody clicks, and the owner concludes that email is dead. What is actually dead is the absence of a system: nothing greets a new subscriber, nothing follows the person who reached the payment page and left, and nobody ever writes to the subscribers who have gone quiet. The intern designs the funnel that should exist for Sanchay Skills, a fictional spoken-English and interview-prep academy in Nagpur selling a ₹2,499 course. The work covers a five-stage lifecycle map drawn in canva, twenty-two fully written emails in google-docs with three subject-line variants each, a trigger and timing logic sheet plus a segmentation schema in google-sheets, a revenue forecast model with three scenarios, a swipe-file teardown of fifteen real brand emails, and a notion handover board the founder's associate can work through step by step. Completing the project teaches the intern lifecycle marketing the way retention teams actually practise it: mapping states and triggers before writing a single line, writing copy that carries one job per email, testing subject lines against a hypothesis rather than a hunch, and defending a revenue number with funnel arithmetic. Email and CRM roles are among the easiest marketing jobs for a fresher to enter and among the hardest to fake, and a repository containing a working funnel design answers the only question that matters in an interview: can you build something a business would switch on tomorrow.
