Corporate Blog Series: Five Articles for a D2C Brand
Every direct-to-consumer brand in India is fighting the same battle: paid ads keep getting costlier, and the only channel that compounds over time is a blog that actually answers what customers search for. Yet most small brands publish thin, salesy posts that nobody reads, because hiring an experienced content writer feels out of reach. A well-researched article series that ranks for real queries and earns trust is one of the highest-leverage assets a young brand can own, and writing one is a skill every marketing team hires for.
The intern acts as the first content writer for Vriksha Organics, a fictional Jaipur-based brand selling cold-pressed oils, millets and jaggery online. Working in google-docs, the intern researches the audience and keywords, plans a pillar-and-cluster series, and writes five publish-ready articles of 1,200 to 1,500 words each, complete with meta titles, internal links and FAQ blocks. Each article gets two custom header and infographic images designed in canva, the whole editorial system is tracked in a notion workspace, and every article is repurposed into a linkedin post so the brand gets social mileage from the same research.
Completing the series teaches the intern the full professional content workflow: audience research, keyword mapping, briefing, drafting, self-editing against a style guide, and packaging work so a client can publish it without questions. The finished repository doubles as a writing portfolio, which is exactly what content agencies, D2C brands and marketing teams ask to see before hiring a junior writer or content intern.
